That does sound like a fun event Susy. Wow has this year flown by! Already New Years Eve dance is upon us again. Hopefully we will have beautiful weather. I am not certain how this blogging works really, still so many things to learn! We have had a very happy and busy year at the mercantile with getting the B&B open and starting our local foods circle. We've made lots of new friends and really learned a lot. Still lots of plans for the future. We're looking forward to celebrating hope you can join us.

I was one of the approximately 25 people that rode the Katy Trail last weekend and ate dinner in The Mercantile. The food was all hand prepared, made with fresh healthy ingredients, and was absolutely delicious. I heard groans later from the ones that ate too much. It was that good! Thank you Joey and Rich. I'm so happy we live in Hermann and are so close to McKittrick. We plan to continue to utilize what you have so gracefully contributed to the area. I would encourage people on the Katy Trail to take a break at McKittrick and check out the Merck It's well worth your stop.
